A resident of Camden and Gloucester counties her entire life, Jeanne Ridgway grew up in Stratford, and has lived in Gibbstown for the past 16 years with her husband Robert. A graduate of Sterling High School, in Somerdale, she earned a BA degree in English from Rutgers University, Camden. For eight years, she was employed as a reporter and special section editor for the Courier-Post, writing on numerous topics including business and real estate. Today, she is a freelance writer for the Courier-Post, contributing frequently. As a real estate agent, she spent five years with Weichert Realtors, Washington Township. More recently, she was an agent with Keller Williams Realty, Cherry Hill, from 2010 through August 2013. Jeanne loves animals, the natural world, music, art, reading and enjoys helping people improve their lives. For years, Jeanne has been a volunteer offering assistance to refugees resettling in the United States. She has also volunteered as an English tutor. She is a member of Providence Presbyterian Church, Mantua.
